Memory Card Dump
Here are some pictures that have accumulated on my camera the last few days.

Saw AfroBeta the other night at a new spot in Wynwood.

After we headed to Pop Life for Treasure Fingers.

We also put up our Christmas tree this week. I was loving all the bokeh!

Clouds of course.

Sasha loves photo shoots.

Last night I dropped by the D.A.D.E. warehouse to drop off my prints for Saturday.....while chilling a little skate sesh broke out on the mini ramp with Rob and the hommie Keen. I was mad that I didn't have my wide lens or flash with me...ugh!

Up in Smoke
I've been fascinated for a while by the different ways people hold cigarettes. You can tell a lot about a person by the placement of their fingers or a certain attitude they have while holding their smokes.
Either way, this is the first photo I have taken for a series I am working on called "Up in Smoke" which will be displayed at a gallery in early January.
Let me know if you're interested in participating. All photos used will be tight on the hands and b/w like the one below.

Art Basel Day 4
So, here are the last set of photos from Art Basel.
This picture perfectly sums up Basel for me.
On Sunday me and the lady started off at Photo Miami, which was my favorite gallery of the year (yeah, really shocking I know).
These look like regular pictures of Brad and Angelina, but take a closer look.

Those are all raisins.

Next up was Art Miami.

This was a HUGE ultra glossy surf board fin.

I'm putting together some video clips that I accumulated throughout the week, I'll be posting it in the next few days.

Art Basel Day 3
I started my third night of Art Basel by passing by the hommie Logan Real's opening. Remember Logan?
It was great to see how much he has grown as an artist. We have both come a long way and learned a lot in the last few years.

His canvas work is amazing, sorry I mean LEATHER work.

Here are some other pieces in the gallery.
After we went to check out Peter Tunney at AE District.

This happened on the way to the car.
The third stop of the night was Fountain, where we chilled with Andy.

We passed by Eat Your Art Out again for a little bit, Dhavi's favorite part was the stairs.

I don't know what this gallery was called, but it was pretty amazing. I could have stayed there for a few more hours taking pictures.
These guys made this crazy light box.

My favorite pictures of the night. I need more time in this room!

Walk backs to the car are always entertaining.

Art Basel Day 2
The Stages opening was the first stop on Day 2 of Art Basel.
I can't begin to describe how I feel about Jose Parla's work.

These speakers were actually functioning.
<

The space was amazing.

Moving bar.

Check out how much it cost to put together.
Do I really need to tell you who this is?
The next stop of the night was Easy Street Gallery for the opening of Eat Your Art Out.

I love this piece by the hommie ABSTRK.

Once again I ended my night at Max Fish. It was great to see Donte Ross, Jose Parla, Neckface and Erick Haze in the house....legends for real!

R.I.P. Sace.
The silly string started flying towards the end of the night.

Art Basel Day 1
My first stop on Wednesday was the Primary Flight opening on Lincoln Road.

Revok

I caught Mike Giant outside.

Next stop was the Miguel Paredes opening.

I ran into this while walking to the Primary Flight after party at The Shore Club.
Here are some flicks of the live painting that was going on at The Shore Club.

At around 3am we decided to head to Max Fish, here is a sneak peak of the Krink wall they have in the courtyard out back. I'll post more pictures of it tomorrow.

Art Basel Warm Up
I drove around Wynwood today with the hommie Chris (Culture Kings) to take some flicks and pass by some gallery spaces in order to get a sneak peak of what's to come. Here are just a few of the pictures I snapped.
I would show you the pictures of the galleries, but I wouldn't want to ruin it for you. Just make sure to drop by Graffiti Gone Global and Eat Your Art Out.

I still love the Primary Flight Wall

Fed Up
Here are some pictures I managed to snap while helping out on the set of Khaled's new single "Fed Up" featuring Jeezy, Rick Ross, Usher and Drake.
This was the last scene shot after a day of boat chases with helicopters, car/motorcycle chases with Maybachs and performances on a helicopter pad. I really can't wait to see the finished product.
I also shot some behind the scenes video, but I'll let DerickG (the real BTS photog) do what he wishes with those....stay tuned!
Once again it was a pleasure working with Gil Green, Dayo and the rest of the 305 Films family.
